Graphics Card Repair: what comes across the bench
No display or no signal
The PC powers on and the fans spin but the monitor stays black. We test the card in a known-good system first, then trace the fault on the board.
Artifacts and crashes under load
Coloured blocks, lines, flickering textures, or driver crashes once a game starts. Often memory or power delivery on the card, sometimes heat.
Fan and cooler repair
Fans that have stopped, grind, or run at full speed all the time. Fan replacement, fresh thermal paste and pads, and a clean of the heatsink.
Burnt power connectors
Melted 12VHPWR or 8-pin connectors removed and replaced on the board, with the damaged traces around them checked and repaired.
Component-level board repair
Failed capacitors, MOSFETs, VRMs, and shorted components found and replaced on the card itself instead of writing the card off.
Laptop graphics
Gaming laptops with no display or a GPU that has dropped out of Windows, diagnosed at the board level like a desktop card.

The usual signs are a black screen while the PC is clearly running, artifacts or flickering in games, driver crashes under load, fans that stop or scream, or a burning smell near the power connector. The same symptoms can come from the power supply or the motherboard, which is why we test the card on its own before blaming it.
Most faults can be repaired: fans, coolers, power connectors, and failed components on the board are all replaceable. When the GPU chip itself or its memory has failed, repair is rarely worth it, and we tell you so and can help with a replacement.
